Is FloorFreight an authorized Shaw, COREtec and Anderson Tuftex dealer?

Yes. FloorFreight is an authorized dealer of Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and COREtec — all three of which are made by Shaw Industries.

That is not a marketing phrase with a loose meaning. It means we order directly from the manufacturer, your floor ships from Shaw's own facilities in Dalton, Georgia, and the manufacturer's written warranty applies to what arrives.

If you would rather not take our word for it, the section below on verifying a dealer is the short version: ask the manufacturer, read the terms, and order a sample first.

The Mechanics

How the order actually works

Five steps, start to finish. Nothing in the chain involves a warehouse of ours, because there is not one.

    You place the order with FloorFreight

    You order online at each brand's advertised price (MAP). Nothing about the product changes because it was bought online — same manufacturer, same SKU, same construction.

  2. 02

    We place it with Shaw

    As an authorized dealer we submit the order directly to Shaw Industries, which manufactures Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and COREtec. There is no distributor and no reseller warehouse in between.

  3. 03

    Shaw picks and palletizes it in Dalton, Georgia

    Shaw's own system pulls your cartons and builds the pallet at their Dalton, GA facilities, then schedules the shipment. The floor never sits in a warehouse of ours, because we do not have one.

  4. 04

    It ships to you by LTL freight

    Flooring moves on a pallet by LTL freight and is delivered curbside — the driver brings it to the end of your driveway, not into the house. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window; we handle any carrier damage claim ourselves.

  5. 05

    The manufacturer warranty applies

    Because the product came through an authorized channel, the manufacturer's written warranty applies exactly as it would if you had bought the same floor from a showroom, provided it is installed to the manufacturer's specification.

Is FloorFreight legit?

Yes — and here is what that rests on, rather than an adjective. FloorFreight is a family-owned flooring company, run by people who actually know floors. It is an authorized dealer of the three brands it sells. Authorized dealer of Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and COREtec.

Orders are placed with Shaw and ship from Shaw’s Dalton, Georgia facilities, so the product that arrives is the manufacturer’s, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with the manufacturer’s warranty. Prices are each brand’s advertised price (MAP) — the price the manufacturer publishes, not a number we invented.

The terms are published in full and in one place each: the returns policy states the window, the restocking fee, and who pays return freight; the shipping page states what curbside LTL delivery does and does not include; the delivery guarantee states what happens if a pallet arrives damaged. Read them before you order — a store worth buying from does not make you go looking.

How to verify any flooring dealer

Run these on us and on anyone else you are considering. They are the same four checks either way.

  1. 01

    Ask the manufacturer

    The brand can confirm whether a seller is one of its authorized dealers. That is the most direct answer available, and it does not depend on taking the seller's word for anything.

  2. 02

    Read the dealer's returns and warranty pages

    A dealer that intends to stand behind an order publishes the terms in full, costs included. Vagueness about restocking fees, return freight, or what the warranty asks of you at installation is the thing to notice.

  3. 03

    Order a sample before a floor

    A sample tells you two things at once: what the floor looks like in your own light, and whether the seller actually ships when you give them money. Ours are $5 each, credited back on your floor order when you sign in at checkout.

  4. 04

    Check who handles freight damage

    Freight damage is the most common thing that goes wrong with a flooring delivery. Ask, before you order, who files the claim and who pays for the replacement while it is being settled.

Is FloorFreight an authorized COREtec dealer?

Yes. FloorFreight is an authorized dealer of COREtec, along with Shaw Floors and Anderson Tuftex. COREtec has been part of Shaw since Shaw acquired USFloors in 2016, and COREtec orders are placed with Shaw and shipped from Shaw's facilities in Dalton, Georgia.

Does my manufacturer warranty still apply if I buy online?

Yes, when you buy from an authorized dealer. The warranty is written by the manufacturer and follows the product, so an authorized online order carries the same coverage as the same floor bought in a showroom. Buying from an unauthorized seller is where warranty coverage is put at risk, which is why the authorized-dealer distinction matters.

Where does my floor actually ship from?

From Shaw's facilities in Dalton, Georgia. We place the order with Shaw, Shaw builds the pallet, and an LTL carrier delivers it curbside. FloorFreight operates no warehouse and does not repackage product.

Can I return flooring if I change my mind?

Unopened flooring on orders of 250 sq ft or more can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with a 25% restocking fee and return freight paid by the customer. Trim, transitions, and installation accessories are not returnable. The full terms are on the returns page.
