How It Works
How does FloorFreight work?
FloorFreight is an authorized online dealer of Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and COREtec. You choose a floor here; we place the order with Shaw; Shaw ships it to you on a pallet from Dalton, Georgia.
There is no showroom to visit and no warehouse in the middle, which is why samples matter and why the delivery is a freight delivery rather than a van dropping a box on the porch.
The seven steps below are the whole of it, in order, with the numbers each step actually runs on.

From choosing a floor to standing on it
- 01
Choose a floor
Browse the catalog by category, brand, colour, or price per square foot. Every product page carries the specs that decide a purchase — wear layer, core construction, plank size, install method, and the manufacturer's own warranty document. The cost calculator turns a room size into a carton count and a real total.

Sample it before you commit
Order up to 4 samples in a box at $5 each, and live with them for a few days — flooring looks different in your own light than on any screen. Sample cost is credited back on your floor order when you sign in at checkout with the same email.

Place the order
Order online at each brand's advertised price (MAP). Freight is flat-rate from $99, with free freight on orders over $1,799. Order about 10% more than your measured square footage so cuts and waste do not leave you a carton short of a dye lot you can no longer get.

Shaw fulfils it
As an authorized dealer we submit the order directly to Shaw Industries. Shaw pulls your cartons, palletizes them, and schedules the shipment from their facilities in Dalton, Georgia — usually within 1–2 business days. Nothing passes through a warehouse of ours, because there is not one.

LTL freight brings it to you
A freight carrier calls ahead to arrange a delivery window and brings the pallet to the curb — typically 5–12 business days in transit, and we confirm a real date once the freight desk has your order. Curbside is the promise: the driver is not required to carry cartons into the house, so plan for two people and somewhere dry to put them.

Inspect the pallet before you sign
Film the pallet being opened and count the cartons against the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the receipt BEFORE you sign it, then email shipping@floorfreight.com with the video and photos within 72 hours. We file the carrier claim and replace damaged cartons — you do not chase the freight company.

Acclimate, install, and keep the warranty
Let the flooring acclimate in the room it will live in for as long as the manufacturer's instructions specify, then install to that specification — subfloor flatness, expansion gaps, underlayment, and transitions all appear in the warranty terms. Installed that way, the manufacturer's written warranty applies in full.
Changed your mind? Unopened flooring on orders of 250 sq ft or more can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with a 25% restocking fee and return freight paid by the customer. Trim, transitions, and installation accessories are not returnable — the full terms are on the returns page.
Why It Is Shaped This Way
What you give up, and what you do not
You give up a showroom and same-day pickup. A freight delivery takes longer than a trip to a store, and it arrives at the curb rather than in the room.
You do not give up the product, the warranty, or the support. The floors are the same SKUs a showroom sells, ordered through the same authorized channel, with the same manufacturer coverage — and the questions a salesperson would answer get answered by email instead, by people who actually know floors.
